Often at the beginning of the day in 5/6O we explore a question or an idea, which gets us thinking deeply and reflecting critically on the world around us, and helps get us going for the day of learning.
Yesterday we discussed the fascinating life of theoretical physicist Stephen Hawking, who died last week, with some students having quite a lot of knowledge about him. We reflected on some of his quotes, which I thought I’d share, as you may want to chat about these further at home.
Today’s question was about acts of kindness, which again may be a theme to continue in discussions at home. This is what we discussed:
Think about an act of kindness you have witnessed in the last 24 hours. What was it? Why do you consider the act to be kind?
