By Maggie Preston and Yasmin Elsakawy

The past couple of weeks have been great,

Everyone is settling in and we have already started fun activities like interschool sport, Some classes have even started their JSC speeches and we have all started Maths groups etc.

Coming up….

This tuesday on the 27th of feb we have the district swimming carnival

Many kids from grade 4-6 are competing and we are all very excited to cheer everyone on and so we wish them best of luck!

This friday on the 2nd of march we have a curriculum day this means we have a pupil free day so the teaches can work hard and go to important meetings.

On the 16th of March we have 12 wonderful 5|6 students shaving or dying their hair,

most students so far are going incredibly well and together they have raised around $1000 to help beat blood cancer.

This week the grade sixes will not be competing because of the curriculum day but the week after we will be having our first home game against Westgarth as a part of their summer  interschool sport. so far the girls rounders have won 2\2 games against fairfield and thornbury primary school,

The bat tennis have tied in won game and lost another, softball have also won 2\2 games, mixed rounders won one out of two and last but not least cricket they have played exceptionally well but sadly lost both of their games.
