Probability in 5/6F

Grade 5/6 have been exploring probability this term. Today 5/6F were looking at Theoretical and Experimental probability using dice, fractions and tallies. We noticed that often the higher the sample size the closer to the  theoretical amount.

Cant wait to see if it holds true for a sample of 1100 when we combine our data.


  1. It sounds very complicated! Great photos of inside the classroom – all those rulers and erasers and numbers, very busy, focused, people.
